Each moment, each breath offers an opportunity for growth and transformation. We often choose what is comfortable. We choose safety. We do this in spite of ourselves. We miss opportunities to become more aware, more conscious, and more open to all that life has to offer. Let me help you to develop the ability to see clearly, to trust your path, and to live life authentically.

I have been practicing yoga and learning the yogic lifestyle for over 25 years. It is a part of who I am. It has helped and continues to help me through all of the things that life has presented to me.

Recently I have had the opportunity to journey to Rishikesh, India and spend time at the Akhand Prakash Yoga Ashram. I have experienced a new way of looking at life. I have learned new practices and ways of being. I now travel to the Ashram twice a year to continue to learn and expand my knowledge and practice.

My Journey

From 1995-1999 I college University at Virginia Commonwealth University. I was always a spiritual seeker. I decided to complete a Minor in Religious Studies. This is where I began to dive deep into the study and practices of Buddhism. I started learning meditation practices and was guided towards yoga to help me to focus. I had no idea how important this practice would be in my life.

From 2003-2005 I attended the Medical University of South Carolina where I studiesd Physical Therapy. I did research and practicums on blending Yoga modalities and Physical Therapy Interventions. After graduating I continued to use Yoga with my patients.

I was so excited by the results that I decided to put more focus on Yoga as a healing modality. I continued my studies and becamea Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). I started a Physical and Yoga Therapy business where I worked specifically with patients with chronic low back pain and neurological diseases.

I have now added sound healing, breathwork, and Reiki to my tool box. I am a Reiki Master and certified Sound Healer. I study and teach pranayama practices. I have found that each modality offers a unique experience and can move stagnant and stale energy in the body creating space for growth.

Life is not easy. We are presented with many challenges. These practices and philosophies offer a way to end the cycle of suffering. This is a journey and life long process. Join me in this journey and allow me to help you find your way!

Through the combination of yoga, meditation, breath work, sound, and reiki I can offer a transformative program for each individual. These practices assist to improve our awareness and our experiences. They allow us to move through difficult emotions, feeling them instead of thinking them and avoiding them. I will assist you to develop practices that teach you how to find balance and how to connect to your true self. Learn to break habitual thought patterns, break free from societal constraints and expectations, and find true liberation.

What’s your story?

I look forward to learning about you and helping you build a practice that will bring balance and equanimity to your life.
